Chihuahua have 4 puppies

QUESTION: I have a Chihuahua, she just have 4 puppies, I want to know how I can tell if all of them are been feed ?

2 are a little big than the others and the get the breast easy, the other 2 have a little trouble.

ANSWER: The best way to tell if the puppies are getting enough to eat is that their bellies will be nice and round. They'll be quiet, except for maybe some grunts. A hungry puppy will cry and move around trying to find mom. You may want to put the two smaller puppies on the back two nipples. (The ones by her hind legs) These nipples usually have the most milk. Sorry for the delay in getting back to you. Some dogs just get that way. Feed her whatever you have to to keep her milk supply up. Fry her some eggs, make her some biscuits, whatever. Mix it with her dog food, that should get her interested. Later, when you start to wean the puppies, then you can get her back to her normal diet.
