QuestionHey!
My husband and I are wondering if there are any symptoms of pregnancy that we might notice in our Olde English Bulldogge. We bred her a few weeks ago when she was in heat, and we know its too soon to really tell, but are there any signs we can watch for? Im having a hard time finding information online!
Thanks!
AnswerHi Amber
Typically a female will slow down, become more affectionate and have a change of appetite. This isn't always the case, but it does happen.
It should also be noted that a false pregnancy has all the signs of a true one without the end results.
We've found measuring the chest and stomach area before and during expectant pregnancy usually helps. With a true pregnancy both the chest and stomach will expand, with a false only the stomach.
Good luck
