her normal temperature is about 100.3 and I was just wondering if this is normal or if I should be concerned and if I can expect puppy anytime soon or can I relax

ANSWER: Do you know what her normal body temp is when she's not been bred?

When you breed over the course of a week, your best bet is to split the difference and take the 13th as conception.  And expect pups in the next day or two.

Good luck.

QUESTION: Hello

No I don't know what her normal temp is but the week before the April 10 it was 100.3 to 100.8. Is it normal to drop that much and then come back up a few days later.

Thank you very much

Answer
It's a good idea to record her normal temp (for future reference) when she's not in season and pregnant.

There are a number of reasons for her temp to go up and down, from laying in the sun (or on top of the heating vent) to a slight fever.

I would keep an eye on her and expect pups soon.  A sure sign is she quits eating.

Good luck.
