4yr english bulldog who absorbed litter of pups, what are causes of absorbtion other than thyroid?

Hi Frankie,

Mycoplasma and bacterial, brucellos infection can all cause pups to be absorbed back.

We recommend and give a low dose of amoxicillian or clavamox for a week prior to breeding.  This insures that the female is clean and healthy and any trace of infection (even one that may not be detected) is healed.
