is my girl pregnant?

Hi Renee,
You answered my ? last week re: my mi-ki who I hope is pregnant. I know what some of the signs to look for. I have a vet app 25 days after breeding.
But my question is she's would be 2 weeks this Tues. Would her vulva still be swollen at this point if she weren't pregnant? Within the 1st week of breeding she came home and did throw-up once and never did before. And her little teats are protruded alittle. Does it sound like she may be pregnant?

Hi Jane. Most of the time, if the dog took, the vulva will stay slightly swollen. A lot of breeders take that as a positive pregnancy sign. It sounds like your girl very well may be pregnant. However, false pregnancies can really throw you for a loop, so I hate to say for sure one way or another. :-) A girl going through a false pregnancy can make you think that she's definitely pregnant. You'll just have to wait her out! :-) Please let me know what you find out.
