dont know if mom is producing enough milk

my dog delivered Friday night and we don't know if she is producing enough milk for her puppies is there anything we can give her to help her produce more milk

Hi Robin. If the pups have nice round bellies, and aren't crying much, then mom most likely has plenty of milk. A puppy that isn't getting enough to eat will cry a lot, and their belly will have a sunken look to it. They also won't grow that well. One really good thing that you can do to help with her milk is to make sure she has constant access to food and water at all times. Some breeders will give the dog a tablespoon or two of dark beer. They say that helps. Besides that, you may need to ask your vet. Good luck!
