How to listen to fetal heartbeats in my 5 1/2 week pregnant jack russell

How do i listen for fetal heartbeats in my 5 1/2 week preggers jack russell
terrier. I KNOW that she's pregnant and its been almost 6 weeks since she got
while in heat. her nipples have enlarged, she lost appetite then started
gaining it back, she has a rounded bump that you can only see when she
stretches out, except recently ive noticed her hips getting wider and her belly
getting larger on the sides too. ive been told that it might be false, but all
the research ive found siad that if it is false, the symptoms start about 6-12
weeks after her heat cycle ends.  But my cici's symptoms showed up about a
week after her heat cycle ended. and are progressing. I believe she might
only be carrying one or two pups, but i dont know how or what to listen for
as far as extra heart beats go... HELP PLEASE??

What day did you breed her?

You need a stethoscope to hear heartbeats you can also used a rolled up magazine.  But if you don't know what your listen for, it's kind of mute.

Instead, I would take her to your vet for x-rays and have accurate readings done so you know what to expect.
