I have a 1 year old shi tzu that has all his shot and is in good health that i want to mate and collect a stud fee. How do i go about doing that.

First have him tested. There are a number of facilities that will do DNA and marker testing HealthGene in Canada is one of them. Ensure that you also include a brucellios test and do not let your male with any female that is not tested. It's a highly contagious STD that can seriously harm your male.

Then contact your local clubs and breed fancier, let them know your male, his pedigree and his "stats" is available. Once he becomes proven, make sure you have an iron clad contract.
