My 3yr. old Great Dane had 13 puppies 18 days ago and she is still having small amount of brownish vaginal drainage. Should I take her back to the vet, I took her there 2 days after she gave birth and he said everything looked OK.

Hi. Congrats on the pups! That's a pretty big litter. Some dogs may bleed up to three weeks after giving birth. As longas she's eating/drinking, not running a temp, then she should be fine. However, if it would make you feel better to get her in to the vet, that's the way to go. It's hard for us to say what's normal or not here, as we can't see the dog first hand. If she bleeds longer than three weeks, then I'd definitely get her in for a check up. Let me know if I can help with anything else.
