dogs tieing

I am having trouble getting my Shih tzu to tie with a stud. He is 5 years and my dog is 3. She is a little taller than him and they have both tied successfully before. How can I assist their breeding?

Hi Leah

Trying sitting on the ground with your female straddled across your lap.
Bring the male around to the business end and using your knees, raise and lower your female until it's a fit.  You can also use stairs and/or a small platform to give the male a few extra inches.
