My Shih Tzu 8 weeks old scratches and sniffs a lot

My Shih Tzu is 8 weeks old he scratches a lot and sniffs a lot. Please tell me what to do. Is this situation serious i love him do i have to return him because of this. He is so very cute. Is my family in danger because of this puppy scratches. Does this spell fleas i hope not what should i do.

Hi Mellody - Check him for fleas.  Also, he may be allergic to his dog food...Get a good one for him.  I can help you - What is he eating now ???  ( brand and flavor)

Also, you should take him to the vet for shots and a good check up.
It may be nothing at all... A food change may do the trick.

Ask the breeder why he is scratching... Tell the breeder about this.
YOU can give him an Puppy bath with Oatmeal dog shampoo.
