Question
Hi I wanted to find out some info on my pom she is shedding very much is this common, when we got her they told us that they shed very little but our house is full of hair. Also someone told my husband that poms should not be fed cheese as it can cause intestinal problems can you please let me know if this is true. Thank you for your help.

Answer
Poms go through seasonl sheds where they blow their undercoats depending on the heat and they also have stage shedding-puppy shed is between 3-5 months and then they also go through a 1 yr shed.  They don't generally lose clumps of hair forever but they do have seasonal and stage sheds.
As far as the cheese... it is perfectly fine-MANY handlers use it when showing as bait. :o) It is also a good additive for puppies-cottage cheese, yogurt... all good in moderation.
