QuestionI just got a teacup pomeranian last night,I was wondering the basics I should know about poms.She is only 3 weeks(the opeople were going home for christmas and couldnt bottle feed her on the trip,so I bought her.)I need to bottle feed her,but I've never done this before.I'm keeping her in a small box with a blanket and heating pad on low.what do you think I should feed her.How old should she be when i first bring her in to the vet(for shots and ect.)?
AnswerI hope you can keep her alive. This is a very tough age to
raise a baby even by professional breeders. She should be
fed every 3 to 4 hours and through the night. I use Espilac and others use Just Born. Buy the liquid as it is hard to mix the powder.
I wouldn't consider taking her to a vet until she is about
10 to 12 weeks old.
