QuestionI have a 4 yr old Pom who has recently started itching almost constantly. It seems to be all over his body. There is no sign of dandruff or fleas(I have him on Frontline). He has never had this problem before and it's driving him crazy. We live on a farm in Md. Recently came back from our summer place at the beach. Could it be the change in weather, stress from going back and forth to the beach, diet? I'm really puzzled and he's miserable. It's interrupting his otherwise happy go lucky lifestyle. Help!
AnswerI would take him to the vet. Frontline should keep the bugs away but if he is still itching it is probably something else like a food allergy or maybe a skin irritation from something at the beach? I don't know but your vet can help you best with this one. You'll want to get him some relief. Some dogs are allergic to beef...
