Just turning a year old

Question
We brought a little female pom into our family when she was Ten months old. She had been in a kennel until we got her. She is very little , Two and a half pounds. She was spayed right after we got her. She seems to be housebroke, but still goes to the bathroom in her kennel at night. Is there anything that we can do for this problem? I have never known a dog to do this where they sleep? She does seem happy with us , and our other two poms. Please help?

She may be too small to go all night without eliminating... if her bladder and bowel are not big enough to hold it then you may need to make a habit of getting up at night to let her out or give her a room without carpet and maybe a litterbox or piddle pads so she can go at night.  Otherwise she just may need more time to adjust... if she LIVED IN A KENNEL before you got her then she may just think that it is ok to go there since that was all she could do.
