Pomeranian Growth Rate

Hi, I just recently got my pomeranian.  When I first got him he weighed about 3.5 lbs.  However, within two weeks he has grown to 5 lbs.  My pom is currently 5 months old ... I understand that dogs usually don't reach maturity til 1 yr, but a lot of times they stop growing before that.  At what age does a Pomeranian stop growing?  THanks very much for your time!

Hi Kou,

Generally, a pom is full grown by the time they are a year old or so. My pom weighed 6 pounds at a year, 6.5 pounds at 1 1/2 years and 7 pounds at 2 years.  He is 3 1/2 and weighs 7 pounds.
