Agressive Barking

Question
We adopted a beautiful 5 yr old male pomeranian about 8 months ago.  He is a former champion who unfortunatelty developed a skin condition and his previous owners returned him to the breeder stating they "bought a champion".  We think he is perfect the way he is, despite having significant hair loss and many bald spots.

However, the problem is his attitude towards my husband.  Whenever he comes home, the dog goes insane.  He barks, growls and runs in agressive circles.  It takes sometime to calm him down by comforting him on my lap.  My husband will try to pet him or offer love, but this little guy just vibrates and growls and is very scared.  This behaviour has now progressed to whenever my husband literally moves, the dog will go insane.  If he rolls over in bed, the dog barks uncontrollably in his kennel.  If my husband is downstairs and the dog hears him upstairs, he goes crazy.

We have another dog, a 5 year old female pug.  With this change in the poms agressive behaviour, she is now starting to bark uncontrollably at the same time.

We have a deep suspicion that our little guy was abused in his former life by a dark haired male -- ie  similar characteristics to my husband.  However, when we have company or family over, this little guys is lovable to everyone but my husband.  The situation is becoming quite unbearable for all of us.  My husband and I are very concerned for this little guys quality of life as he is totally strung out when he's home.

We tried the anti-bark collar, didn't work.
We tried firm commands, didn't work.
We tried sending him to his kennel, didn't work.

What can we do?  I would appreciate any suggestions.  We love all 4lbs of him soooo much, but we are concerned for his well being and ours.

Thank you in advance for any insight you can give me.  Lori

Answer
Well I am in the same situation you are in, my husband resuced a Rat Teirrie from the Humane Society here before they put her down.  She goes to everyone put me.

So my only advise is for your husband to feed him and even give him treats.  This Pom should have no else in the house give him treats or be fed by anyone but your husband.  It will take time but he will
figure out who is feeding him.
