Unknown illness???

Question
Hello,

I'm at a complete loss here. Over the last year I have tried literally everything to try to stop my pomeranian from randomly getting sick. For the last year and approx 3 months my dog has been getting sick (yellow vomit/ weird pooping). And this happens once or twice EVERY month since I got her. I was told it is not a family thing (i saw all health records, she is registered pure bred, and family history shows no signs of this). So I have tried everything from de-worming her, changing foods, limiting treats, and only feeding her lamb and rice with no fillers. I thought the food was working (switched about 2 weeks ago to strictly lamb and rice), but today she puked yellow again! I even gave her de-worming meds in hopes that was the culprit, but it doesn't appear to be the reason.

She acts fine though, and she still eats/ drinks. She even still plays with her toys. So I can't for the life of me figure out the cause.

I am concerned though for my poms health and my babies health. I am due to have a baby anyday now. My husband said that if the dog doesn't stop puking/ diareah we can't keep her, because it could be a health risk to our baby.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated

Answer
You need to have her examined by a vet and take in a stool sample.
It sounds like coxi to me or something else caused by a bacteria.  She may keep showing signs of having it since it is never fully resolved in her home, yard or body.

Best of luck.
