QuestionHi, my pom is 2 months old and she quite aggressive. I know I'm not suppose to smack my puppy but I do it when she bites things she's not suppose to eg, my hand, furniture etc. I've smacked her on the bottom and it wasn't very hard and I've tried the 'putting your finger in her mouth' and 'telling her no' method but she will growl at me. When I say growl I mean the really unfriendly showing all her teeth growl. What should I do because its like she wants to attack me. Hope you can help. Thanks.
AnswerI would recomend that you try holding her muzzle shut and say firmly-"No bite" and hold it shut for a few seconds. She will get the picture soon enough. Also, hold her on her back for a few seconds, several times a day so that she gets to understand that YOU are the alpha in the home.
