Question
I just got my first Pomeranian He is 4 months old today. My Q. is that he is so picky and I have both dry and can food and sauces for him. I give him carrits and small ice cubes .he is about 3lbs.How much should he eat? and what else can I feed him? I really don't know much about him except that he is great, and makes me happy.. Would like to know about how big in size he will get? And he has papers that I really don't understand.I recieved a form to register him. I don't want to enter him in any shows but I would like to kept him in his own blood line. Help please..

Answer
carrots are fine, and the dry kibble (top quality dry dog food from a pet store or vet) available is a great idea.  You want to "free feed" a Pom this size till they are at least a year old so they do not get low blood suger.  He will eat when he is hungry.  You can expect him to double in size from his 12 week weight.
Are your papers AKC (American Kennel Club)? If so you can fill them out and mail them to the club with payment and he will be registered with the club as your dog.  If you do not intend on breeding or showing then the papers are of no concequence.  His blood line doesn't make any difference if he is not bred and he should not be bred unless he is a perfect example of his breed and the breeder (preferable someone who actually knows the difference) tells you he can be.  You can find tons of info off my links page and you can find GOBS of breed standard information off the AKC site. :)
Best of luck and congrats on your new pup!
