QuestionI got a male Pom Pom sometime ago and it is now around 13 weeks old. I want to brush his coat so I go to the pet shop and get a soft slicker brush, a metal comb and a matt comb. However I have no clue about how to start brushing his coat...I don't know how to use those brushes... Should I start with the slicker brush first, the matt brush first, or the metal comb first? Should I brush the undercoat and top coat separately? Also i know that I should divide his coat into section and then brush, but should I brush his coat vertically or horizontally? Can you please describe the brushing process in detail for me?

to show how to groom.
I use a pin brush and section off the coat and groom from
the skin out. When the grooming is completed then groom
all the hair in the back up towards his face.
You can look on the Internet as there are DVDs you can buy
that show all the detail.
