QuestionI have a 2 and a half year old pom named Tucker. He barks Incessantly in the car ,at home ,at my fiance, and at any loud noise. He also has begun to urinate in the house and at my fiances' home. If I leave him alone or with my fiance he urinates after I leave. I cannot take his barking or urination. The only time he is content is when I am within his sight. Any suggestions?
AnswerSounds like you've given up on him already...
the barking is normal and so is the marking his territory. Is he nuetered? Is the fiancee new? He may be upset with a new male in your life and showing it by urinating. If your Pom has run of the house then you can expect him to do that. Don't let him out of your site while in the house and kennel or sequesture him when you are away.
Check out the archives of questions as there have been a lot of folks with housebreaking problems and also barking.
If you don't think you have the patience to work this through with him then I suggest you find a good resuce group to give you a hand in finding him a loving home.
If yu are willing to work through it then take some of the suggestions I gave in the archives.
Best of luck, I hope it works out for you.
