how soon

Question
i have been thinking about getting a pom and i want to but it in shows. i was woundering how do i get it in shows and how old must my pom be.

Check out this AKC site-

Go to confirmation shows in your area and watch.  Ask questions of the exhibitors (AFTER THEY ARE DONE SHOWING).  Find your local Pom club and join.

They may be your best asset in finding a show pup of your own.  Read the standard. http://www.akc.org/breeds/pomeranian/index.cfm

Learn it inside and out.

Once you have a handle on what to look for then figure out what your "type" is and start researching breeders who breed that type. :o)

You have a lot of work ahead of you but it is a great experience and a lot of fun!
