Glucosamine

I hope this is not a redundant question. I want to put my pom on glucosamine, but what doses are usually reccommended? My pom is 10 lbs. A ballpark answer is greatly appreciated!

It all depends on the kind of glucosime you are using-treat form, liquid form, dog food...
an effective dose of glucosimine is 3500mg per day for large breed dogs, if you look at the ingredients most dog food companies put less than 500mg or only 5% of the glucosimine required to be effective, and you pay for it. We have run into similar situations with Omega 3's and 6's with other dogs.
