pomeranians and maltese

Question
We recently adopted a maltese (2 years old) and he is adjusting quite well but our 7 year pomeranian is not.  Sassy won't eat except if we hand feed her and she won't have anything to do with the Maltese.  What can I do to make Sassy not feel threaten? and what do I do about her eating habits

You may have to just give her time.  And make sure you do everything with her first-feed her first, greet her first...
