Question
HI, PLEASE HELP ME,  I HAVE A  1 1/2  WEEK OLD POM PUPPY THAT I THINK HAS HYPO, CAN YOU PLEASE TELL ME WHAT TO DO,  I  HAVE ALREADY  LOST HER RUNT FEMALE LITTER  MATE LAST NIGHT AFTER A  8 1/2 HR BATTLE TO SAVE HER, ...SO FAR I HAVE CRUSHED UP A  VITAMIN SIMILAR TO NUTRI-CAL BUT IN SOLID FORM AND MIXED IT WITH WATER AND TRIED GIVING THAT TO HER BUT EVER SINCE ALL 4 OF THEM HAVE BEEN BORN THEY HAVE BEEN HAVING PROBLEMS WITH MILK COMING OUT OF THERE NOSE SO I WAS WORRIED  THAT THE VITAMIN PARTICLES WOULD GET STUCK  IN HER NOSE AND PREVENT HER FROM BREATHING LIKE I THINK WHAT MAY HAVE HAPPENED TO HER LITTERMATE LAST NIGHT, I HAVE ALSO READ THAT THE PUPPY MILK  ISN'T AS GOOD AS THE VETS THINK IT IS, I HAVE ALSO GIVEN HER WATER WITH A BIT OF  THE VITAMIN IN IT (RESIDED LEFT  FROM THE GLASS WHEN I MIXED IT UP) AND SUGAR/MOLASSES/VITAMIN WATER, BUT SHE KEEPS WHINING OR  YELPING AND DOESN'T WANT TO EAT WHEN HER BROTHERS DO SHE ONLY WANTS TO SLEEP BUT EVEN CRIES WHEN SHE IS  SLEEPING, I HAVE GIVEN HER A DROPPER FULL OF THE SUGAR/MOLASSES WATER SO I GUESS MY QUESTION IS,.... IS THAT ENOUGH AND  IF IT IS ENOUGH HOW OFTEN SHOULD I GIVE IT TO HER, I WENT TO THE VET LAST NIGHT TO GET A BOTTLE AND PUPPY FORMULA  FOR HER SISTER LAST NIGHT BUT ENDED UP LOSING HER ANYWAY, I HAVE TRIED TO GIVE HER SOME OF THE PUPPY MILK TOO AND SHE SEEMED LIKE SHE WAS DRINKING IT FOR ATLEAST A MINUTE OR  ATLEAST I THOUGHT SHE WAS MAKING SUCKING NOISES BUT SHE ALSO BREATHES PRETTY CONGESTED....HOW MUCH MILK TO THEY NEED IF I NEED TO GIVE HER SOME AND HOW OFTEN SHE WEIGHS 0.25 OUNCES NOW AT 1 WK 1/2...SHE WILL BE 2 WKS ON SUNDAY

Answer
Do you not have the mother??

Do not give this puppy anything but milk replacement.  If she is not able to nurse from a mother or drink from the bottle with the replacement then she will not make it.

Your vet can try to tube feed but I would not recomend that you try-you may asperate that puppy.
If they all are struggling then they may have been premature.

I wish I could be more help but there are times when you cannot help them.  Your vet is the best option.  If they can't then you will probably lose the litter.  They need a mother to nurse on.  Maybe your vet will know of a bitch with a litter that will let them nurse.
