Water Bowl

My 12 week pom all of a sudden got into the habit of playing in his water bowl...this makes a huge water mess and then he ends up tracking water everywhere.  I dont know how this started or how to stop it!

Well guess what?  I have a black girl that I also am having
a problem keeping her out of the water bowl.  We did put
the dish up higher on the exercise pen with a clip which has helped.  I think they do this because they are bored.

I have had some pups do this over the years and if you can
find a place that makes ceramic water bowls for rabbits
they usually have a 3/4 inch lip over the water hole so
rabbits can't play in the water. Great for Poms.

You can buy the plastic ones from a pet shop and pet catalogs but they are so light weigh that my pups
would turn them over and spill the water anyways.
