Question
Hi,

A friend of mine asked me to groom her pomeranian. She told me that she wants her dogs fur to be cut, but not too short so that her dog can still look like a pomeranian. She doesn't want to cut too much off. I have 1 clipper and it adjusts to size #10-#15 and thats it. Since she doesn't want too much cut off I know I should use a snap on comb, but what size snap on comb can I use on a #10-#15 blade so that the fur doesn't get cut too short. Please help.

thanks.
Frankie.

Answer
If you use any kind of clippers then they will lose the long flowy coat and before you get started you should know exactly what your frined wants you to do.  The directions they gave weren't very clear.  Shaving is shaving and your safest bet it they like the longer hair is to use the longest clipper you have.
You can go to my links page and click on the link to grooming if you would like to try to do it with scissors.
Good luck with that.  And if all else fails... it'll grow back eventually.
