Which is the best - male or female?

I am a mother of 3 boys ages 13, 11 and 9, is a male pomeranian best for my home?  I love to pamper the dogs give them much attention. I was told that males tend to be very territorial and aggressive, is this true?

That is an old wife's tail. I don't have an aggressive male
on the place.  If you don't have a fenced yard and don't plan to spay a female don't get a female.

Just remember my show size Poms are easily injured and with
the age of your boys I would look for a Pom in the 15 lbs size.
