Question
Hi TRish, first off I wanted to say I LOVE THE ANSWER you gave on "Dog Lives Here"....lol That is so true!

My question is our fur baby is 9 weeks old. She is doing awesome with crate training, is pretty much house trained (tells us when she wants out). But because this is our first pom. We are not really sure where she should be at this point. I've already got her to sit on cammand. But is she to young right now. She doesn't have a big attention span and doesn't listen very well sometimes. She knows her name already but alot of time while she is awake she wants to play and gets pretty wild.....lol She is very active and playful and loves attention. We are working on the biting while playing which she loves to do...lol Any suggestion or comments would be appreciated. Also, my wife is home all day so she gets attention to the fullest while she is awake. Also can you suggest a good book for training and one for grooming? I think I'm doing pretty good on groooming but really have no clue what I'm doing.

I love reading all your post. Keep up the great work.

Answer
She sounds like she is right on track in activity and that she is ahead of the game in training.  That says a lot about the trainers :o) SOunds like you are working with her a lot.  This will only help in her understanding of what you want from her.
Great job!
You can order books on grooming, videas and there are lots of great links online-
