dry hair

What is the best thing to give or put on my pomeranian for his dry hair?  

Answer
Salmon oil is great to add to the kibble to help clear up dry skin but if you don't have it then olive oil works good too-about 1 tsp should do it.  You may also want to have your vet check for drandruf mites as they look like dry skin and are a type of parasite.
Make sure you are not bathing too often as that can also wash away healthy oils and leave skin dry.
Once a month is good.
