QuestionI have a pom.(Jecko)who is 8 months old and he's great and trained but what I cant get him to do is stop barking. He barks at neighbors,mail men,and just random people passing by our apartment.I've tried many ways but it doesnt seem to work so can you please help me.And our landlord said that if he doesnt learn not to bark then he has to go. But I dont my Jecko to go so can you please help and thank you for your time for answering my and other peoples questions.

Does he bark during the day while you are gone? If so, try closing the curtains (so he can't see what's going on) and playing the radio. Playing the radio will make him less sensitive to things going on outside. Give him toys to play with and something to chew on like rawhide bones or nylabones. I put a little cheese on the rawhide bones I give my dog. He loves them.
Make sure he gets lots of exercise. Take him for walks or go to a park. Get together with a friend who has a dog and let them play together. A well exercised dog is less likely to run around the house barking at every sound.
