My poms fur is flat

Question
Hi, i have a 13 month old female pom.  She has already had a litter of puppies.  While she was pregnant, she was always panting so we thought it would help to trim down her fur, it did help the panting but we miss her long fur.  She has went through her first big shed, and we are waiting for her fur to grow back.  When her fur was long it wasn't fluffy, but flat(exept on her head).  What can we do to help her fur grow? And when it does grow in, what advice can u give to help it become a nice full fluffy coat of fur? Any special foods or shampoos etc... Thanks for your time and i love the site!

Answer
no fancy shampoos or diets... just time. :o)
A litter may help her be fluffier than she would have been without the litter but being a bitch she may never get big fluffy coat.  ANd depending on her breeding (pedigree) she may not have the genes to be big and fluffy.

Timne is all she needs.  It may take a good 6-10 months to get a coat back after having pups-all bitches blow all theri coats after having a litter.
