Potty training and barking!

Question
Ok My pom is 6 months old and we started to potty train him with the puppy pads. He was doing really well always went on them. Within the past few weeks he has started hiking his leg instead of squating and is now going everywhere! in the hall, on clothes, jumps on the coach and goes. How can i make him stop that and why is he doing it?

My second qs is that my dog has what i like to call "abandonment" Issues LOL! Whenever one of my family members leaves the house he cries and whines (sounds like someone is killing him) even if we just let a cat outside he freaks.. How can i stop him and make him get independence? Thanks you so much

On the potty training issue he is coming of age and marking
his territory.  You can have him neutered which will probably stop this or you can purchase pee bands.  I use
pee bands on all my males that come into the house.  It is
a band that goes around the belly and has a sanitary napkin
inside so when they pee it goes into the pad.  Look for
them on the internet.

You might have to start putting him in a crate when someone
leaves and he gets upset.  Put a piece of carpet in the bottom to cover floor so it is comfortable and put him
and some of his favorite toys inside so he feels safe.
