shedding problems

Question
I have a 4 month old daughter, I also have a pomeranian who sheds very often.  Since my daughter will be crawling soon I am concerned about the constant shedding by my dog.  There is always a lot of fur on my carpet.  What can I do to control my dog s shedding so I can keep the fur away from my baby?  Thank you.    Darin Fish

Answer
I don't have that much shedding on my Poms...wash you dog
and when dry and then take a good metal comb and comb out from the skin in sections taking out all the dead undercoat.  Once you have gone over your Pom like this you only need to brush them out a couple times a month.
