Male Pom marking problems (urination)

Question
My 2 1/2 year old male Pomeranian has developed a big problem with marking throughout the house. He is paper trained - using a puppy pad to potty - but the marking began about 2 years ago and seems to be getting worse recently. He is VERY well loved - and does not mark in our presence. He has attended training classes and does quite well with basic commands. Any help you could provide would be really appreciated! We are at our wits end!

Answer
If he started marking about 2 years ago then you are about 2 years past when you shoudl have started training him against it... :)
If he is still intact then he will continue to mark and will continue to try to cover wherever another dog has left their mark.  A dog scent is carried in usrine, feces and by oily sections between their toes and around their ears.
You can use belly bands to keep him from being able to pee on anything.  It is a small fabric band that goes around the waist (covering the penis) and attaches at the ends with velcro.  You just put a sanitary napkin in it to absorb the urine and you won't have any on your furniture.
Good luck!
