When will my Pom puppy get her adult coat?

My Pom is almost 5 months old. When will she get her adult coat. Right now is coat is short and not thick. Should I be worried? She is very healthy and full of energy. Thanks Linda

Hi Linda,

This is nothing to be concerned about.  Many poms go through this stage known as the "puppy uglies".  The adult coat will come in at approximately nine months to one year of age.
