I would really like to breed my pom in a year and a half i don't want to breeed her if she gets 2 big though I will be a new breeder and I am reading up on them a lot I know the rule of 8 weeks old triple the weight and 12 weeks double the weight I was wondering if based on your experience on a puppy that is 6 weeks and 4 days old that weighs 2pounds 4 ounces how big have your puppies gotten that were at a similar weight I understand it won't be an exact measurement maybe a round about

I want my female pups that I keep back for breeding to be
around 3 lbs at 12 weeks.  I do not breed anything under
5 lbs.

Each bloodline matures at different sizes so in reality there is no set rule on size as a puppy.
