My Baby Boy

I have a pomeranian who is my baby boy his name is bambi. Bambi is going to be turning 12 this november and i am very concerned about his health. He is losing all of his hair on his feet, the front of his chest and just above his tail. I have had some people tell me that pomeranians are prone to a skin disorder in old age. is this true and what is there that i can do to help my baby boy?

Hi Rachel,
It sounds like Bambi may have a fungus type infection.  It's hard for me to make a good "guess" over email so I would suggest a quick trip to the vet.  He is getting older at 12 and we don't want to take any chances with his health at this age.  Keep us posted as to what they find out.
