HI I SENT IN A QUESTION ABOT 4 OR 5 DAYS AGO I HV NOT RECIEVED A RESPONCE....MY QUESTION WAS HOW LONG DOES A POM CYCLE LAST AND HOW OFTEN DOES IT OCCUR.....ANOTHER QUESTION PLEASE...I HV NOTICED THAT MY POM HAS FLAKES IN HER HAIR  WHAT CAN I DO ABOUT THIS?THANK U DARLENE WALDREN

I am sorry but I have been in hospitol and I have just come back.
I have no internet at the moment and I am borrowing a computer.
I have Been in hospitol and have had NO ACCESS to ANY computer. A bitche's heat cycle lasts 21 days, and occures every 6 monthes.
It is 7 days comming in....7 days beeding period.......7 days going out. If you do not plan to breed your bitch then I would get her spayed before the first cycle.
I would keep your bitch away from all dogs for 28 days.
If your bitch has flakes it could mean a number of reasons such as...mites...skin irritation...allergies to a skin product...or it could be very dry. I would go to see a Vet immediatly and get a diagnosis.
