A few days after Reeses Vaccination...

Reeses, my 5 month old Pom, has been hacking and dry heaving since Sunday the 26th and also sneezing.

We got his first vaccine's on Thursday March 23rd.  The vaccines he received were...

Canine Bordetella
Corona Virus
Distemper Parvo LA
Giardia
Lyme Disease
Rabies

They also gave him a Pyrantel Pamoate Dewormer and Frontline Plus.

This was all on Thursday.

They sent us home with an Iverhart Plus Tab to give to him as well.

We ended up giving it to him on Sunday and a few hours later he started with the hacking/dry heaving.

We took him in today to see if he was okay and they said this could probably be caused by the vaccines and that his body is just reacting to them.

We give him the boosters in 3 weeks.

So my quesiton is, does he have the cold or is this common?

This all started after the Iverhart.

All help is GREATLY appreciated as we're so attached to this little Orange Guy!

Never let any vet give a small toy breed all these vaccines at one time..they should be spaced out over at least two weeks apart.
Most vets do not understand the toy breeds as well as they
should or do not have the experience in these breeds.

I have had my Pom sometimes come down with a cough after useing Bordetella and this is not unusual.  Just keep the
pup quiet and warm for a few days and this should go away
on its own.
