8wk old purebred pomeranian

Hi Trish,

I have just bought an 8wk old purebred pomeranian from a breeder. I have not yet owned a puppy of such a young age, although would like to whether there is an age minimum to bathe and groom a puppy and also, at what age should I start training the puppy?

there is not a min age at which you can bathe just don't do it too often or you will dry out the coat and skin of the pup.  Maybe once every other month with regular hiney washing as needed.
Do not expect your pup to be potty trained till well into 6 months of age-check out some of the past asnweres here to get some great tips on potty training. :o)
You can start with simple commands but you must remember that your pup is still VERY MUCH a baby.
