QuestionI had bought two poms at the same time and they get along very well. There are times when they defend one another and when they playfully fight. My female white pom, Princess, is 5 mo. My male black pom, Mickey, is 4 1/2 mo. They are very friendly and keep their barking to a limit. The only problem I have with them is housebreaking. They seem to pee and poop wherever they please. I have wee-wee pads out and unless I keep them in that room, they wont pee on my carpet. I tried to take them outside and Mickey is more eager to go out but he tends to bite on his collar. Princess is extremely frightened of the outdoors. I had placed her on the stoops of my house so maybe she can get an idea. No luck stil. She notices how Mickey runs off onto the sidewalk (with a leash of course) and she still doesnt want to go. If they both are put on the ground, she will lay down and not move. She will begin to cry untill I pick her up and then she begins to shake. What do i do?
AnswerCheck out the archives, it is a common issue new Pom owners have with their fur kids. :o) Don't expect too much before 6 mo and training 2 will be more time consuming and may take longer than just training one.
