Hair growing from inside ears

I have two 6 month old male poms, and both of them have strands of hair growing out from the inside part of the ears, it looks kind of funny, and I was wondering if I'am supposed to leave it grow or trim it. I do shave around their back end to keep it clean, and I also brush them every other day and keep them clean and nails trim. Will I eventually have to take them to a groomer? Ann

They do look funny :o)
My friend calls them "twizzles".  She keeps them becasue she thinks they look cute.  I cut them... whatever you want to do is fine.
You sound like you are doing all the right things. If the brushing gets to be too much for you then taking to a groomer is an option.  Some people keep their Poms clipped down like a teddy bear or lion.  Some people like the long fluffy coat.  It is just a personal preference.
