Pomeranian question

Question
Hi there,
It's nice to be able to come on the computer and have someone answer questions regarding pomeranians. My boyfriend just recently bought me a pomeranian. She is about 2 and a half months old. She is starting to learn how to go outside to go to the washroom which is nice. But she is very hyper. Do you know of any tips which could help me to calm her down. And do you think it is to late to kennel train her? So that at night time, or when we need to leave the house we can put her in there. Thank you so much for taking the time to listen to my questions. I hope to hear from you soon. Also if you have msn messenger it would be nice to keep in contact. I am from Alberta Canada. Thank you once again.

Answer
Your Pom is still very much a baby and she will act like one for at least a year.  Part of being young is being rambuncious, wild and crazy.  But, she may have also been "blessed" with some of one or both of her parents very outgoing personality... in that case-that won't change. :-) She may always be like that.

No-it is never too late to kennel train.  All of my Poms are trained to go into their kennels at night-that is where they all sleep.  They may fuss at first but this will pass and soon you can have them going in all by themselves just by giving the command.  Do not expect her to be house or kennel trained right away-she is still a baby. :-)
Email me if you have any other questions.
