Question
My 14 mnth old pomeranian DOES NOT like to eat her food. Instead she eats OUR food. The ocassional table scraps and we regularly feed her chicken legs and wings. When she does eat her own food, she never finishes the bowl and she hardly eats them. We've tried to feed her dry food those pellet-like food and the ones you get in a can. She would literally starve herself rather than eat her food. she'll eat a bit of it when she knows that we're not going to give her any of our food but she still does not finish it. i also notice that she eats her food more when we hand feed her. She's such a spoiled little dog. What can we do to fix this problem?

Answer
Is there a problem with feeding her your food? If that is what you have been doing and it is what she likes... becuase if it wasn't available, she will eat her dog food. :o)  She will.  She may not eat as much or as often... which is probqably a good thing so she doesn't get fat.  But she will eat her kibble if you don't feed her table scraps and treats.  She doesn't know you aren't going to give her "people" food because you eventyually always do.

Best of luck!
