Question
I just got a new boy pomeranian about 1 month ago.. he is two months old.. He is so hyper I can't pick him up without him going nuts.. when I pick him up to hold him he goes crazy squirming and wanting to bite and lick and just can't be still.. also when I put him in bed with me he will not just lay with me or go to sleep.. he runs around jumping on my face.. and also when i walk around my house anywhere.. he growls and barks at me and bites my feet as i am trying to walk.. is this normal behavior for a puppy? and will he calm down? I have a friend who has a pom and hers is very calm and will sit in her lap and sleep with her and is very sweet.. is mine just never going to be like that? is there anything I can do to calm him down or change this behavior of biting and barking at everyone? please help!

Answer
It is very normal-just a bit hyper.
Buy the book Cesar's Way. :o) It will be of great help.

Your dog is still very much a baby and you cannot expect much more than that at this age. :o) And you cannot expect much calm behavior... much like having a 2 yr old in the house.

Best of luck.
