What to have at home?

Im going to be bringing home a year old pom that we are adopting from the local shelter and since toy breeds are different i was wondering if i should have anything special here when she comes home?

You need a place to keep her until you know she is potty
trained.  I would suggest an exercise pen and a bed for
her.  She needs access to clean water and good food.  I feed my adults once aday.

Buy a pin brush and a grooming comb and keep her brushed
and clean.  One thing I should mention on small Poms around
4 to 5 lbs I never let them on anything they can jump off
of as they break bones pretty easy.  Vets charge up to
$2000 to fix a broken leg.

My dogs are keep in a fenced area for exercise, I never
turn them loose to dig out or for something unexpected
to injure them.
