QuestionMy Pomeranian still poops and pees in the house, even after being taken outside. He acts like he doesn't care were he goes. He is over a year old, is there any hope? or is there a such thing called just a dumb dog?
AnswerI don't think he is dumb...he has just gotten away with a bad habit. Put him in an exercise pen or shut him in the
utility room with paper down. Do not let him loose in the
house unless you are there to watch him. You are going to
have to break him of this bad habit.
When you feed him take him outside. Praise him when he does potty outside. Anytime he starts to mess in the
house put him outside. Do NOT give him free access to roam
the house without supervision. All this is going to take
time but he can be trained.
