Question
Hi Carri, my question is I have a akc male pomeranian and ckc femal, can I breed them and register the pups as akc? I look forward to you response. Thanks

Answer
I'm Trish :o) Maybe you emant to send tis to Carrie?

I will answer your questions though :o)
Whcih CKC is your dog registered? Continental Kennel Club-a bogus not worth anything club that will also register mutts and keeps no records worth their salt on the lineage of dogs... OR Canadian Kennel Club which is an AKC equavalant?
I would not buy or breed andthing that is CKC (Continental) registered becuase you won't know if it is even a purebreed.
The worst is the APRI-this one is a big fat joke and many are tricked into buying a pup with this "registry" and think they are getting something special...
Here are some links for more information on registrations.

Best of luck.

If you are interested in breeding Poms you shuld read read read and know the standard inside and out.

Meet with some show breeders and exhibitors so that you can know what to see and learn what is proper in Pom confirmation.  Join a Pom club so you can meet others who loves Poms and who know Poms inside and out.

Read up on breeding Poms.  Many Pom mothers are lost through C section or whelping every year and many many many puppies die int he first week-2 weeks of life.  It is known as the heart break breed becuase of this.
I am not saying you should not breed... just be as informaed as you possibly can be.  Know the dogs you are breeding and their lineag so you know if the family is known for certain hereditary problems and what they may pass to their pups.

Best of luck.
